The One Hour In-Office Whitening System

Contrastam A new 22% hydrogen peroxide gel designed for use with or without a light source. This syringe-based delivery system is dispensed through a 4:1 syringe with a mixing tip. The pH is slightly above neutral ensuring maximum product efficacy while minimizing sensitivity issues. Contrastam is a universal system that is compatible with most bleaching lights and high-intensity dental light sources (see light manufacturer's instructions for additional isolation protocol and cure time). Contrastam is also effective without light activation, producing an average shade change of 5 shades in a single treatment, in limited testing. Contrastam replaces the QuasarBriteT and StarBrite® systems previously available in the Spectrum Dental line. Available in 2 packaging options.

More Information The Contrastam treatment takes about 1.5 hours to complete, including isolation, before and after photo documentation. The application time is 60 minutes, performed in three, 20 minute sessions. The treatment may take a bit longer to complete if additional isolation is required by the light source protocol.
